Le Poirier is a beautiful gite with original beams and exposed stone walls. It is deceptively spacious (60sqm), ideal for a couple looking for a short break or longer holiday. On the ground floor there is a good sized bedroom with a king size bed and a super modern bathroom. All linen, bathroom towels & Wi-fi are provided free of charge. The private terrace is equipped with table, chairs, parasol and sunloungers overlooking the stunning heated pool and peaceful countryside beyond.

The space

Kitchen and dining
There is a well-equipped open plan kitchen dining area which opens out directly onto the private terrace overlooking the pool and countryside beyond. Good quality fixtures and fittings, an electric fan oven, gas hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge freezer. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you might need for your holiday.

Living room
The spacious, open plan, double height living room has original oak beams and exposed stone walls. It has been tastefully decorated throughout with tiled floors for coolness in the summer and ease of cleaning. The living room opens out onto the private terrace overlooking the pool.

Bedroom
The charming downstairs bedroom has a king size bed, bedside tables and a bespoke clothes rail. It has it's own separate doorway opening onto the private terrace overlooking the pool and countryside beyond.

Bathroom
The modern bathroom is equipped with a full size bath with shower over the bath. Watch the horses grazing in the paddock while you clean your teeth!

Heating
The gite is double glazed throughout and there is a woodburner in the open plan living kitchen area which heats the whole gite. There are also electric wall heaters in every room if needed.

Play petanque/boules on the purpose built pitch under the magnificent oak tree.
Boardgames, cards, books etc in the gite.
Miles of quiet, picturesque walking and cycling tracks straight from the door.

Garden and outside
The grounds around the gites have been beautifully landscaped to enhance the beauty of the natural countryside around the property. The range of flowers, shrubs and trees attract an abundance of wildlife, including swallows, owls, bats, buzzards, kestrels, humming bird moths, numerous butterflies, moths, lizards and geckos.

Other things to note
The pool is shared with guests from the neighbouring gite and occasional guests in the B&B. The maximum number of guests allowed on the property is 10. There is plenty of space around the pool and grounds to socially distance.
Guests must bring own pool towels.
